INNOVATE UK SMART GRANT KICK-OFF

We are thrilled to start work on our £311k Innovate UK Smart Grant.

Over the next 18 months, we will embark on an ambitious project to expand and screen our exclusive microbial library for novel antibiotics targeting A. baumannii. This pathogen, categorised as a critical Antimicrobial Resistant pathogen by the WHO, is responsible for a staggering 1 million cases and >400k fatalities annually.

The invaluable support from Innovate UK will propel our impact-driven research and enable us to make significant strides in this crucial area.
